The last time I had Thai food this delicious and authentic was in Thailand! WOW, what a hidden gem. We ordered a number of items for take out, and, even with a 20 minute drive, all of our items were piping hot when we enjoyed them. The Pad Thai was heaven - it was such a blend of a wonderful flavors with absolutely no grease. I've had so many Pad Thai orders from other places where the noodles are swimming in oil, but not here!! The portion was also big enough to share, or large enough for two meals. We also ordered the yellow curry and green curry, and both were flavorful with just a little kick. Ruk Thai Kitchen gives you the option to choose your level of heat, from 1-4, so, if you're averse to super spicy food, definitely ask for no spice or level 1 at the most. The veggie green curry had an awesome assortment of fresh vegetables all perfectly cooked, and, again, this was large enough to share or to serve for two meals. They give you the option to pair the curries with white or fried rice - choose the fried rice! It may be the best fried rice I've ever had! Super clean, not oily/greasy, and SO flavorful. I wish I lived closer so I could order from Ruk Thai all the time! This is a small family owned restaurant, and their passion for high quality food and customer service comes through in all that they do. It was easy to place our order over the phone and all of our items were perfectly packed and ready to go when we arrived for pick up. Don't miss a chance to dine at Ruk Thai Kitchen if you're in Clare!

They deserve all of their 5 star reviews. Everything was fantastic. The milk tea was amazing. I got it with mango boba and that was a great combination my server suggested. When you order the spring rolls you get 4 for $6, which I think is an amazing deal. The sweet and sour chicken is very fresh, crispy, and tangy. I'm so full but so happy!

I came here for the first time while running an errand in town. The food was so good! The rangoons tasted so good, especially with the dipping sauce. Shrimp pad Thai and tofu yellow curry were both amazing. We got level 4 spice and it was really spicy, so would recommend a lower spice level if you have issues with heat. The restaurant has plenty of seating and parking, and our waitress was really friendly. Service was quick.

Seeing as they already have five stars, not sure if adding my own five star rating will do anything but I had to do it anyway! We moved to Gladwin a year ago from a more metro area and have really missed the accessibility to really good food. Thai food especially. so for my birthday I lamented about wanting Thai food and so we found this place 40 minutes away with good reviews and decided to give it a shot. We were so pleased with this place and will definitely be back. It is a family run establishment with the wife cooking, the husband and possibly the daughter serving and waiting. They were both so welcoming and friendly, and the husband explained the menu to our family member who had never eaten Thai food before so didn't know what to order. He compared the items to what a somewhat similar item would be in other cuisines so as to have some frame of reference. and he genuinely seemed to care that we had a great experience. To that end, he heard mention that it was my birthday and brought us a piece of cake as a surprise! I haven't had a candle or a cake for my birthday in years so it was super special! Thank you! We even bought food to take home so we could extend the yumminess to the next day! We will be back for sure!

This is a local owned business. Very delicious and authentic Thai food. Probably the best Thai food i ever tried! You can choose the level of spices in your food The restaurant is very clean and neat. The chef is a Thai woman who is very talented. The service is very good and the owner will come and explain everything in the menu to you. We ordered pad thai and sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. The level of spices is so balanced and tasty! I highly recommend this place if you want to try the real original thai food experience. You won't be disappointed.

Dennis and Kim are the best! This is our first time to eat original authentic delicious Thai food. I was really glad I came to this restaurant. I am in Kalamazoo, but definitely will drive 2 hours to eat here! Such delicious dishes with humble manners and great prices!
